At Panhandle High on March 7, the Wildcat Band practiced from 7:30 a.m. to 8:40 a.m. to create a great show; all the hard work payed off.

A very impressive performance was held at Panhandle High School; the Wildcat Band competed in the UIL Concert and Sight Reading contest. The preformed pieces were “Dona Nobis Pacem” by Mart Schubert, “British Eighth” by Zo Elliott, and “Deir’in De” by Warren Baker. The band got all ones in the sight reading segment and all ones, plus a two in the concert segment. The band progressed to sweepstakes for the year!
